About My Clients
I work with clients who are: ▫️ Seeking alternatives to traditional talk therapy ▫️ Seeking an Asian American therapist ▫️ Wanting to do deep trauma work ▫️ Desiring spiritual integration into their lives
My Background and Approach
Over the last decade, I have helped hundreds of clients work through issues of trauma, loss, and disconnection. My practice is focused on creating a safe, secure space for clients to navigate their life challenges and develop their own internal compass. My skillset is in using deep healing, trauma-informed techniques -- such as Neuro Emotional Technique, hypnotherapy, inner child work, and Internal Family Systems. I received my training at the post-modern MFT program at SDSU & have worked in schools, hospice setting, & community clinic. I also have lectured and coached other mental health practitioners on therapy modalities. My practice is highly informed by my life and my own spiritual journey. I have been immersed in a diversity of healing modalities, Buddhism, and meditation throughout my life. I have lived experiences as an immigrant from Southeast Asia, child of a working class family, and a parent.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have a background in activism and non-profit work in the areas of environmental and animal protection. For most of my therapy career, I have worked/volunteered for a youth creative arts non-profit called TranscenDANCE, supporting students in underserved communities.
