About My Clients
My clients come from BIPOC populations. My focus is helping folks deal with the trauma that is caused by systemic racism and the mental health issues that result from having to navigate a world that is hostile and dangerous both emotionally and physically. My ideal clients are professionals who are result-oriented and willing to do the work. For the past 20-plus years, I have worked well with clients who are seeking help with trauma, racism, stress, managing relationship issues, goal attainment.
My Background and Approach
My approach is holistic and historical. My goal is to help you to become happy which I think is the ultimate purpose that drives all of us to get out of bed in the morning. Happiness is person-specific and not a one-size-fits-all. Removing the mental and emotional obstacles can move us down the path toward happiness. Creating value is part mental and part spiritual and I treat both.

As a mindful humanistic-based counselor: • I believe in the potential of all people to be happy and live well-balanced lives. • I believe all people have a right to live a meaningful life of their own choosing. • I believe all people have the right not just to survive, but to thrive. • I believe it is those who never lose hope who are genuinely happy. • It is an honor to serve as your guide during this important part of your life journey.
