About My Clients
I support those labeled as too intense, not enough, or "doing it wrong". I work with individuals, couples, and moresomes. Whether you are looking to navigate an overwhelming situation or have deep inquiries to explore, I will be your collaborator on the journey.
My Background and Approach
My clinical approach draws from DBT, CBT, Psychodynamic, Person-Centered, and Narrative therapy — not as a fixed formula, but as tools I tailor to you. Some sessions call for practical, skills-based work to manage anxiety or regulate emotions in the moment. Others call for deeper exploration of long-standing patterns rooted in childhood or family dynamics. And sometimes, the most powerful work is reclaiming your own story — separating who you are from the roles and expectations placed on you. After six years in community mental health, including significant work with individuals in re-entry, I've learned that real change rarely comes from a single method. It comes from flexibility, genuine curiosity, and a willingness to meet you exactly where you are. Therapy should adapt to you, not the other way around — and that's the approach I bring to every session, tailored to exactly where you are, right now, in this moment of your healing journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone deserves dignity and support. I believe in equity over equality. I am a gay non-binary Ukrainian immigrant and I proudly stand with communities that need the most support to be uplifted. Black Lives Matter, Trans Lives Matter, Free Palestine, and Fuck Ice. I am an abolitionist and believe that we need to fortify our social support networks instead of punishing people for falling through the cracks. I believe that it's never too late to start and it can be fun to just kind of be bed at something in the beginning. And I believe in occasional cake for breakfast.
