I help parents navigate the sometimes daunting task of parenting a child of any age.

I work with children on different things that may impact them behaviorally or emotionally. This includes periods of adjustment such as entering a new school, parental separation/divorce, the birth/adoption of a new sibling, difficulty navigating peer relationships, and more.

I work with adolescents on different things that may impact them behaviorally or emotionally. This includes periods of adjustment such as entering a new school, new feelings in themselves or about others, self identify, difficulty navigating peer relationships, and more.

With family therapy, the main person of focus is the one I see individually and their relationships with members of their family. I work with the family members on tools on how to mend or adjust to the relationships.

I use child-centered approaches with children. In virtual play therapy work this often means that children are using their own tools at home. I look for themes within their "play" to see what they may be struggling with. When playing together, such as with a game, work often includes increasing frustration tolerance levels or seeing how their actions can lead to new things - including things they don't want to happen.
