Sometimes life is just hard and you find yourself stuck when you want what everyone ultimately wants- to continue to grow and feel more congruent to yourself. It can feel nerve-wracking or even sad to feel like you are not moving forward in your life and while these challenges and stressors are not inevitable, you don’t have to struggle alone. With patience, empathy, skills, and laughter I look forward to guiding you towards a more balanced and authentic, evolving sense of self.
My Background and Approach
I have had the opportunity to work in multiple settings with various populations in both individual settings and groups. I enjoy passing along various emotion regulation skills, such as those that may use a prompt and ones where all you need is you, so you can manage that discomfort and not let it get in the way of what you want or need to do. I enjoy to collaborate with you to help you find those skills or tools that are effective for you. I also work with you to explore how you prioritize your self-care so that you can show up in your life the way you’d like to.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone wants to continue to grow, especially when we find ourselves either overwhelmed or struggling to manage the difficulties life throws our way. It’s easy to get lost in our heads, forget to come back to our center and listen to the answers we have to our own questions. I look forward to helping you reconnect with yourself and learn to let go do the struggle with the “noise” of life you can’t control.
