About My Clients
Your grief is specific to you. You deserve someone who will look at you as a whole person and sit in it with you. During our sessions you can expect open and honest communication, exploration of belief systems, cultural experiences, desires for change, empowerment, and meaning making.
My Background and Approach
I work from the model of empowerment and from a trauma informed perspective. This means I believe you hold the power to your own healing. As well, you can expect my words and treatment plans will reflect an acute understanding of trauma designed to reduce continued trauma in the therapeutic experience. You can expect frank and authentic conversation.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am part of the LGBTQ2S+ community. I'm trans friendly and have experience working with individuals in open and poly relationships. I am an advocate for women's rights, and support those working on empowerment after experiencing domestic violence and sexual assault. I worked for a DV shelter and SA crisis team for 2 years. I have experience with Native communities.
