About My Clients
I work with a wide range of people who are seeking practical tools as well as introspection, understanding, and healing. Perhaps an unexpected event has occurred and you are looking for support. Maybe you struggle in relationships, whether a life partner, family, or friends. Perhaps you go through life dealing with anxiety, depression, stress. I am here for all of it. If you like a blend of open discovery and exploration with an occasional sprinkling of structure, we will be a good fit.
My Background and Approach
I believe that my role as a therapist is to partner with you, and that we are in the room as equals, working together in service of your greater well-being. In our work together, you are the expert in your own life; my role is to bring my toolkit of training, discernment, and wise questions to help you build new habits, navigate difficult emotions, and create a healthier, more satisfying life. I’m committed to creating and holding a safe, non-judgmental, empathetic space for you, in order to help you do the inner work of healing, growth, and change. I work from a person-centered perspective, which means that above everything else, the relationship we have with each other is the most important element of therapy. I’m trained both as a therapist and as a personal coach, so depending on the situation, I may bring different perspectives into our conversation. I draw from a wide range of modalities, and I tailor therapy to fit each individual.
