My Background and Approach
I am an LCSW with 8 years of mental health experience. I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative and completely authentic. I am not a "blank slate" therapist who sits in silence; I show up as a real person and encourage you to do the same. Drawing on CBT, ACT, Internal Family Systems, and strengths-based practices, I help you build tailored tools that fit into your actual lifestyle. We aren't aiming for perfection here. We are focused on sustainable progress, moving at your pace toward a life you genuinely want to live.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we all have room for growth and that mental health is just as important as physical health. Everyone deserves affordable health care, including mental health. As someone you has struggled with mental illness, I have a passion for helping those who may be struggling with similar experiences. I am a proud member and ally of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. I believe that every human deserves equity, not just equality, and that no human is illegal.
