About My Clients
My clients come ready to work and trust the process, and I honor the time it takes to build rapport, as the therapeutic relationship is very important to me. My approach is relational and authentic. I support clients in understanding their strengths and learning to identify emotions, while advocating for them and gently challenging them to face difficulties with the tools they are building.
My Background and Approach
In my own mental health journey, I work intentionally to remain authentic and connected to the people in my theatre. I continue learning how to express myself with comfort, honesty, and acceptance. I enjoy bringing humor into the room—sometimes to lighten the heavy moments, sometimes simply to breathe. I believe deeply in therapy: in the work I do for myself and in the work I am honored to do with clients. I've been married for 22 years—an evolving journey of growth, learning, and continually practicing open, honest communication.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves a safe space to be heard. There is no room for judgment in my approach to therapy. I understand how difficult it can be to take the step of sharing your experiences, and I believe your story is a treasure. At Front Row Therapy, your story, time, and words are held with care and respect. At times, I may use gentle humor to help break up heavy moments, while also fully honoring and holding space for the hard and painful parts when needed. My primary goal is to meet each client where they are, offering authenticity, connection, and compassion throughout the therapeutic process.
