About My Clients
My clients can expect that sessions will give a sense of clarity, and education. I have a lot of experience with addiction or people that love someone struggling with addiction. I also specialize in mood disorders, depression, relationship struggles, and trauma histories. I like to leave my clients feeling seen, heard, and free to move forward how they choose. I also provide a very safe and open space for diverse cultures and oppressed individuals.
My Background and Approach
I can provide simple feedback, but I also can assist a person in going deeper into their mind and behaviors. I have the ability to help a person gain insight through psychoeducation and a psychodynamic approach. I enjoy being able to give my expertise to others, to take my years of training, and give my clients all the information they may need to proceed in healing or reformation, as they wish.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My personal beliefs are deeply rooted in my life experience and dating back to childhood. Growing up in a poverty stricken family, witnessing addiction and mental imbalance as a young person, experiencing inner city schooling, and moving frequently to different cities in Chicagoland area, it opened my eyes and ears to the world around me. I found value in the human experience, learning about oppression, acknowledging pain, being a voice for others, and giving hope and support to every person I possibly could. I believe in supporting the World as a whole. I value the people I come into contact with. I honor culture, I love diversity, and I admire various ways of living.
