My Background and Approach
As a virtual EMDR therapist in Georgia, I specialize in working with women impacted by sexual and childhood abuse, as well as concerns related to cultural identity, self-esteem, interpersonal relationships, boundary setting, depression, anxiety, and major life transitions. With a high value in community and connection, especially during vulnerable seasons, and I am passionate about helping women rediscover their voices, strengthen their identities, and move forward with clarity and empowerment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing isn’t linear and that even when we feel broken, we are still deeply whole. Pain can cloud our sense of identity, but it doesn’t erase our worth. I see therapy as a sacred space where we unlearn shame, reconnect with truth, and rediscover the strength that’s always been within. I believe the stories we carry deserve to be heard, not buried. I honor the complexities of trauma and the resilience of the human spirit. You don't have to minimize your story with me or explain your culture, faith, or why it took so long to ask for help. This space is for you. Using EMDR and a trauma-informed approach, we will work through what is stuck, not just talk about it.
