About My Clients
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, self-esteem struggles, family dynamics, and the impact of past experiences. I aim to create a warm, supportive space where you feel comfortable being yourself. In therapy, we’ll explore patterns in thoughts, emotions, and relationships while working together to build insight, self-understanding, and healthier ways of coping.
My Background and Approach
My background includes working in community mental health, where I supported individuals experiencing a wide range of concerns and life circumstances. This experience reinforced my belief that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I take an integrative approach and tailor sessions to each individual’s unique needs, experiences, and goals. My work is rooted in honoring each person’s individuality and creating a space where clients feel understood and respected. I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, feminist perspectives, and psychodynamic/psychoanalytic ideas. By integrating different tools and perspectives, I aim to help clients gain insight, build coping skills, and create meaningful change in their lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person deserves to feel heard, respected, and accepted for who they are. I view therapy as a collaborative process where clients are the experts of their own experiences. My role is to support, guide, and gently challenge when helpful. I value authenticity, compassion, and curiosity, and I strive to create a space where people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences feel safe exploring their thoughts, emotions, and personal growth.
