About My Clients
I frequently work with individuals in professional caregiving fields (such as educators, medical professionals and fellow mental health professionals) and enjoy providing support for those who support others. I help individuals acknowledge and understand personal boundaries, whether at work or in their personal lives.
My Background and Approach
My practice focuses on using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma informed care and mindfulness to build self-compassion, insight and empowerment. I received training in EMDR and Brainspotting therapy modalities and offer these services as well. I use a direct approach and believe in building skills to reach a place of healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe all individuals deserve safe, non-judgmental, inclusive and collaborative space to begin listening to their own voice and gain confidence as they navigate toward emotional well-being and healing. It's important for each of us to understand how our depression or anxiety shows up so we can learn to manage it. It also helps to acknowledge how much our environment and current events impact our mental health and recognize that we're not alone in carrying those stressors.
