About My Clients
Life can be hard and it is harder with the expectations put on us by society, social media, and mostly ourselves. Many times throughout life we face uncertainties about the path we have set out on. I offer collaborative strategies to explore emotions and to develop coping skills and tools to move forward in a way that creates more self compassion and self awareness.
My Background and Approach
My approach is client centered, each person is unique, it is important to meet you where you are and help to achieve the goals set for yourself. I use solution-focused therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), which have been proven effective in helping clients achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being. I am adept at identifying and addressing negative thinking patterns, teaching coping skills, and helping develop positive behaviors to replace negative ones that are unique to your situations. I have found that using psychoeducation along with talk therapy helps to better understand ourselves and gain a more wholistic perspective on your situation.
