About My Clients
For over 15 years I have worked extensively with people who have endured traumatic and adverse life experiences, and those struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression and PTSD/stressor-related. Many of my clients are people who are interested in exploring how past adverse experiences, relationships and environments may feed into unhelpful narratives about themselves.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Registered Art Therapist, and EMDR Therapist. I am trained in the these evidence-based practices: EMDR Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Seeking Safety, Aggression Replacement, and Strengthening Families. When words are not enough, we can turn to more creative processes. Art therapy and EMDR are modalities that engage the body and mind, what we feel and think. Both modalities help us not only think differently, but also feel something new and healing.
