My Background and Approach
It is hard to open up and be vulnerable because it means you are weak for asking for help, or you are a burden on others. Being vulnerable and asking for help is actually the opposite. It takes a lot of strength to say, "I am here to work on the pieces I know I struggle with." You want to be the best mom, partner, worker, boss, you can be, but that does not mean you have to be perfect or everything for everyone. You want to learn how to slow down, take time for yourself and nurture the relationships that mean the most to you. You want to learn how to juggle everything that is on your plate without feeling overwhelmed, or burnt out. We also know, that with your plate full, you want to see changes fast and you are willing to work hard to see these changes. When working with me, we will do exactly that. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Everyone is doing the best they can with the knowledge that they have, and we all have the capacity to learn and grow. Nobody is perfect, but we can learn how to be healthier and happier to become a closer version of the mom, partner, worker or boss that we want to be. I do not believe that you have to be in therapy for years to see change. With hard work and therapist that is a good fit, you can start to see changes fast. I use treatments that have been proven to be effective so that we are not just chatting in sessions about your life. We are digging in and finding solutions to the problems you are facing in your day to day. We are working on your goals in and outside of the therapy room. I am dedicated to helping you achieve your goals and will work as hard as you to help you get there.
