About My Clients
You may be looking for a space where you don't have to perform, over-explain, or be the person responsible for everyone else. You may be a college student working to juggle all the demands of school, work, and relationships. You may also be a new professional in the workforce who may be replaying conversations and scenarios over and over again in your mind. Maybe challenges such as anxiety are not new at all, but you have made the decision to begin therapy again.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts that has been working in the field for the last four years through both internship and professional experiences. Much of my experience has helped inform interventions and skills I have developed in treating concerns through various treatment approaches. Some approaches I typically lean towards include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and parts work through Internal Family Systems. I hold a firm belief that everyone is their own best expert, which is accounted for in the therapy space as we build our relationship together and decide which interventions and treatment modalities to use.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a firm believer that everyone is their own best expert, and that there are many things and experiences that shape who we are as people. While many factors can shape us, I am also a believer that these experiences do not need to define us and what our futures can look like. I practice off the principles of respect, autonomy, and authenticity, and believe everyone is deserving of these three things. Although I have had my own training and experience around ways to address specific concerns and presentation, I hold the firm belief that you will the one that knows what is best for you, and that I will work alongside you to explore new potentials and ideas to achieve calm and wellness, as well as to provide unconditional support through the process.
