The core of my practice is supporting LGBTQ people to have the lives, relationships, and families we deserve. I have spent my entire career supporting LGBTQ people, including 15 years of experience counseling LGBTQ survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
I specialize in supporting individuals, couples, and all types of relationships navigate the road to parenthood, including fertility and reproductive challenges, grief and loss, family creation concerns, birth trauma, and perinatal mood disorders. I feel passionate about supporting people through the identity and lifestyle transformations that come with parenthood.
I am a Level 3 Gottman Method Certified Couples therapist, and have received advanced training in mindfulness and emotion-focused therapy. I enjoy supporting couples and relationships of all structures (including polyamorous relationships, chosen family relationships, and friendships) to have the tools they need to navigate conflict, improve communication, and increase connection, intimacy, and commitment.
I am a Level 3 Certified Gottman Method Couples counselor who brings a strong feminist, emotion-focused perspective to supporting couples and relationships to have the tools they need to create the relationships they want.
My approach is strongly informed by a critical feminist, social justice approach to individual and relationship therapy, examining the impact of structural and systemic oppression on our sense of self, sense of belonging, and our connections to our values and sense of purpose in our lives.
I have been deeply engage in mindfulness-based practices for over a decade, and integrate a trauma-informed mindfulness approach in all the clinical work I do.
