Humanistic Therapy operates off of the assumption that all of us deserve to be treated with Unconditional Positive Regard and I firmly believe this is the foundation of all good therapy. No matter what you have done, no matter what has happened to you, and no matter what you are going through, I provide a nonjudgmental approach to working through your situation. In addition, to humanistic therapy, I also integrate mindfulness, CBT, ACT, Narrative therapy, and EFT depending on your symptoms.
Anxiety sucks. Whether you are experiencing generalized anxiety, panic attacks, or specific phobias, I can help. I use CBT, mindfulness, ACT, and Humanistic Counseling to process your anxiety, cope with the situations causing anxiety or sometimes just the feelings that don't seem to have a cause, and develop healthy thoughts and copings skills to manage the symptoms.
Whether you are experiencing situational depression or chronic depression, it can be exceptionally difficult to deal with and it is hard to find space and time to take care of yourself. In therapy, we can process the thoughts, emotions, and situations that have or are currently contributing to your depression and find healthy ways to manage it.
Life can be hard sometimes. I believe everyone can benefit from a nonjudgmental outside person to talk through difficult or stressful situations with so I am here to provide the space for you to process through all aspects of whatever life situation you are dealing with and find healing or tangible ways to move forward.
