Most people with depression struggle with fatigue, concentration, and sleep. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness to determine the root causes of your depression and teach you coping skills to overcome unhealthy beliefs, determine the triggers for these beliefs, and explain how to reframe inaccurate thoughts so you can move forward with your life. I also help you explore any unprocessed trauma you may have experienced as well as your attachment style and how you relate with others

Have you ever experienced shortness of breath, racing or intrusive thoughts, rapid heartbeat, but found out that it is not a heart attack? You could be experiencing a panic attack, or anxiety attack. I use Mindfulness based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you overcome the symptoms of anxiety. I teach you relaxation techniques that work to help you regain your calm in a stressful world.

Do you have trouble concentrating, feel a need to constantly fidget or experience restlessness? Do you have trouble organizing your stuff, or have a hard time focusing at work, or at home? You may have a condition called Attention Deficit Disorder. There are three main types of ADHD, but you need an assessment to determine which one if any you might have. I can help you manage your symptoms as well as help you with time management, procrastination, and/or concentrating.

In our modern world, as couples experience higher levels of stress and disconnection I am here to help clients improve relational intelligence and build unity. In couple’s sessions I provide tools for improved communication, empathy and authenticity. I believe relational skills are essential in today’s world where there is a continual flow of communication and constant need for engagement.

I am passionate about partnering with individuals, couples and families and empowering clients to find healing and higher levels of personal growth. I approach anxiety and depression related issues using a Cognitive-Behavioral Model (CBT) to challenge negative messages and dysfunctional thought patterns.

I use Mindfulness to help my clients use relaxation techniques, meditation, progressive muscle relaxation skills, and grounding techniques to help them identify what triggers their anxiety, depression, or other mental health issues so we can begin to work on moving forward using their strengths and identifying their values and goals.
