My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and hold a Doctorate Degree in Behavioral Health from Arizona State University as well as a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bellevue University. I have training in issues related to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, school issues, self-esteem, substance use, and more.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We work with a diverse population of children, adolescents and adults, couples and special interest groups. Those who identify in a variety of ways related to age, gender, race, sexuality, and religion have found our work together to be very helpful in navigating the complex issues they’re facing in their lives. Many of the people who choose to work with us are highly motivated professionals who are independent, self-reliant, and achievement-focused, but often struggle with self-defeating thoughts and patterns of behavior that keep them feeling stuck. We also work with many high-school and college students, high-achievers that face social and academic pressures.
