About My Clients
I offer therapy rooted in my lived experience within the LGBTQIA+, non-monogamous, kink, and neurodivergent communities, helping my clients in WA and OR navigate their identities and relationships with confidence and authenticity.
My Background and Approach
I like to work with my clients from where they are at, working together to create and reach goals. I like to provide resources and homework, if desired, such as psychoeducation on boundaries or self-care. What's really important is for us to find out what is important to you and how we can work together to achieve it. This can look like a lot of things, from working together with your partner to change the way you communicate with one another, to making changes in your routine so the way you do things works for you, rather than how it works for everyone else to coming up with ways to avoid or minimize executive dysfunction and decision fatigue. Something isn't working for you? Let's fix it, together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I know that traditional "talk therapy" isn't for everyone and not every therapist is going to be the right fit. That's why I offer free consultations and encourage clients to let me know if we're not a good fit. I'm here for you, not to hold you back. For more about me, I volunteer my time as a co-clinical director for the non-profit A Home Within, which provides pro bono therapeutic services to current and former foster youth throughout the US. I also volunteer some of my time throughout the year at events held by Sex Positive Portland and the Portland Leather Alliance.
