About My Clients
While my specialty is working with children ages 0 to 5, I enjoy working with clients of all ages. Although I am not a behavioral therapist, I have a passion for helping individuals who are struggling with emotional regulation. I also enjoy working with couples and supporting clients as they process past trauma that may be impacting their relationships.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Jacksonville State University in 2018 and a post graduate certificate in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health from Troy University in 2023. I became a Licensed Professional Counselor in November 2022. I have extensive training in play therapy and am currently working toward becoming a Registered Play Therapist. While play therapy is often associated with younger clients, it can also be highly effective and meaningful for adults.
