About My Clients

Maybe you're a parent of a sensitive, spirited, or neurodivergent child (6–12) and feel like you've tried everything. Maybe you're a woman, femme, or LGBTQ+ adult who recently learned you have ADHD or autism, and you're exhausted from years of masking. I work best with families who want to understand the "why" behind big behaviors, and adults ready to release shame and build real self-trust. If you're tired of carrying the heavy stuff alone, you're in the right place.

My Background and Approach

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master's degree, over 15 years of experience, and training in EMDR and IFS. That means you get a steady, seasoned guide who won't be thrown by the hard stuff. With kids, I blend play therapy with kid-friendly EMDR and IFS, so your child can process big emotions in the language that comes most naturally to them. With parents, I offer practical, judgment-free support that helps you decode behavior and find strategies that actually work at home and school. With adults, I use EMDR and IFS to help you move past shame and old patterns at a deeper level than coping skills alone. And then there's Pickle, my co-therapist. Animal-assisted therapy brings a calming, grounding presence that helps clients of all ages feel safe faster. My own late ADHD diagnosis means you won't have to explain how your brain works, and my trauma-informed approach means therapy feels safe, even when the work is hard.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe everyone deserves a space where they don't have to shrink, mask, or perform to be accepted. That belief shapes my practice and my life outside it. I'm a proud advocate for neurodivergent people and the LGBTQ+ community, and I'm committed to making therapy a place where all identities, bodies, and brains are welcomed and celebrated. I named my practice Sage Peak because I believe growth is rarely a straight line. It's more like a mountain climb, full of switchbacks and hard stretches that often lead to the best views. When I'm not in the office, you'll probably find me on a Colorado trail with my dogs, surrounded by plants, or enjoying a good non-dairy latte. And yes, Pickle really is part of the team. If you're an animal lover too, you'll fit right in (and if dogs aren't your thing, Pickle is happy to nap elsewhere).
