About My Clients
I enjoy working with individuals in all stages of life from children (age 5) to adults. My areas of client focus include Anxiety, Depression, Adjustment Disorders, Life Stressors, Trauma, Divorce, Mood Disorders, LGBTQIA+, ADHD, Autism, and Self-Harm Behaviors.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio through the Counselor, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapist Board. I received my master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Malone University (2022) and my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southern New Hampshire University (2020). I currently serve on the Board, as the Secretary, for the Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities of Ohio and was the 2022-2023 Emerging Leader for the Ohio Association for Specialists in Group Work. I take a holistic approach, using a variety of therapeutic approaches which include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Strengths Based, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Person-Centered Therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I currently serve on the Board, as the Secretary, for the Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities of Ohio, a subdivision of the Ohio Counseling Association, and was the 2022-2023 Emerging Leader for the Ohio Association for Specialists in Group Work.
