About My Clients
I enjoy working with adults, couples counseling, marriage counseling, faith based counseling, women’s counseling, and goal focused therapy. Learning about my clients and creating a safe, collaborative space is important to me while starting therapy. I value your thoughts and partnership in therapy!
My Background and Approach
I have a Masters degree in Social Work from Aurora University. I have experience working in the behavioral health hospital with adolescents through older adults. I have worked with addictions/alcohol/substance abuse, eating disorders, children’s counseling, family therapy, couples counseling, memory care clients, and in the private practice setting as a therapist. I also enjoy providing clinical supervision to mental health professionals to get their clinical hours and get their big license to practice independently. I still offer clinical supervision virtually. Reach out!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone is deserving of help and services. Any client that is motivated to work towards their goals in therapy will get where they are hoping to be. I enjoy implementing faith based therapy if my client is comfortable. I encourage mindfulness techniques and yoga in therapy if my client is open.
