About My Clients
I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults and their families that are suffering from a variety of mental health issues that include, grief, ADHD and other behavioral issues, Bipolar, Anger, Low Self-Esteem and Eating Disorders. I am specialized in the treatment of Anxiety and Depression using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
My Background and Approach
Since 2005, I have been working with children, adults and families in a variety of settings including homebased, psychiatric hospital, group, marital, and individual counseling. I have experience with high risk teens and children as well as those within the foster care system. I have done radio shows on mental health issues on 103.5 WMUZ FM and have provided awareness and education to students and teachers on bullying and domestic violence. After working 9 years in group practice, I have made the decision to spread my wings into private practice. I have recently opened a private practice in Clinton Township, Michigan, called Hopeful Reflections Counseling Center. My approach is to get to know you on all angles, empowering you along the way with education, skill building and to help increase coping strategies to help get your life back on track.
