Amidst the chaos and pressure of living in the city, life can get challenging. Whether you are looking to work through existing challenges or feel compelled to move in a new direction, it does not have to be done alone. I help address concerns such as: substance use, trauma, mood disorders, life transitions, identity issues, LGBTQ+ challenges, and relationship problems.
My Background and Approach
I completed my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and LGBT Health, Education, and Social Services at NYU. I completed my B.S. in Psychology and Gender and Sexuality Studies at Brooklyn College. I also hold an Advanced Certificate in Integrated Mental Health/Addictions Treatment Training from Columbia Psychiatry, New York State Psychiatric Institute.
My therapy style is supportive, interactive, and empowering. I believe that cultural sensitivity and a positive therapeutic relationship creates opportunity for insight, growth, and change. I will work with you to understand your unique needs and tailor specific clinical interventions for you so that we can make positive strides toward your mental wellness.
