About My Clients

I work with individuals and families navigating grief, major life transitions, family conflict, and parenting challenges. Whether it's helping children manage big emotions, the stormy pushback of adolescence, the unique needs of disabilities, or caring for aging loved ones, my goal is to help you feel confident, connected, and prepared to face life's challenges with strength and resilience.

My Background and Approach

I’ve navigated unexpected transitions, raised a child with special needs, walked through grief, and rebuilt after life took an unexpected turn. The right support, at the right time, can change everything. I work with individuals, kids, and families to find clarity, strength, and hope in life’s hardest seasons. With a background in Recreational Therapy, a Master’s in Theology, and 20+ years of international experience supporting families through crisis and change, I create space for the messy, honest, complicated truth of being human. Together we'll focus on understanding your story: what's happened, where you are now, and what you hope will be different. Using strategies to manage stress, improve communication, and navigate emotions, we'll uncover patterns or beliefs that keep you stuck. With my training and your insight, we can create a plan that feels realistic, doable, and meaningful. If you’re ready to feel seen, heard, and supported, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

We all love the idea of a good plot twist, the surprise that changes everything. But in real life, those twists don’t always come with a happy ending. I’ve navigated unexpected transitions, raised a child with special needs, walked through grief, and rebuilt after loss. Like pottery repaired with gold, our lives can become more beautiful not in spite of the cracks, but because of them. Whether you’re grieving, parenting through hard seasons, or trying to make sense of a story that looks different than you hoped, healing begins when you feel safe to speak and ready to begin again. I believe change is possible, no matter how stuck or overwhelmed life feels. Counseling should be a place where you don’t have to pretend or perform. My goal is to create a welcoming space where people of all identities and experiences can share their story, explore their struggles, and find hope for the future.
