My Background and Approach
I enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds to help them overcome their struggles with depression, anxiety, ADHD, complex trauma, disrupted attachment, divorce and blended family issues, impulse control, and self-harm allowing them to rediscover hope and find their meaning in life. I particularly enjoy working with children and teens often described as “quirky” in that they have difficulty making and keeping friends, have difficulty recognizing social cues, are generally immature for their ages, and so forth, helping them discover their true self-worth and recognize their true potential. I use brain-based approaches to treat challenges disrupting individuals’ and families’ lives. I specialize in quantitative EEG, or qEEG guided neurofeedback which I combine with psychotherapy modalities like solution focused therapy and internal family systems therapy, resulting in more successful outcomes. I work with all ages from 5 to adult.
