About My Clients
There are moments we are going to go through many difficult events and transitions in our lives which may affect us mentally, physically, and emotionally. These issues can stem from anger, fear, depression, and you’re unsure how to get out of it. The confidence you once had is diminished. There is uncertainty towards what the future has in store, and you're doubting whether it's going to be the bright future you anticipated. I'm here to help restore and enhance the new you with more confidence.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC). I received my Master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. My target population are working with young adults who struggle with relationship issues that connect with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and substance use who would benefit from both psychotherapy and motivational coaching. My clinical interventions consist of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness practices. My approach is client-centered and meeting you where you are at. I prioritize making sure you're comfortable to process your feelings and concerns.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Due to life circumstances and struggles, everyone needs a person to communicate with that can provide unbiased and objective feedback. This what makes mental health therapy important as a necessity. The opportunity to restore and enhance an individual with more confidence, insight, and motivation. This what give me passion and motivation to assist those in need to enhance their psychosocial functioning.
