Sometimes you can’t shake the feeling that you aren’t enough. The feeling that somehow you can never “get it right.” You may experience this feeling of continual self-doubt, worry, and anxiety keep you from being able to let go and enjoy the people and spaces care about. The constant stress and demands of life are those that keep you from being able to slow down enough to connect with your own needs, which then can keep you feeling disconnected from those around you.
My Background and Approach
The path forward means releasing yourself from this pressure so that you can begin to connect with your purpose and self-worth. It doesn’t have to feel impossible to connect with yourself and the things the people that matter the most to you. I use an integrative approach of Restoration Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy techniques to help clients to begin to move toward a place of greater self accpetance and that of empowerment to move toward their desired way of living.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we are all striving to find the best life possible. I strongly believe that wellness is not found in just the therapy room, but instead involves caring for ourselves in areas of physical, emotional and relational wellness. I am passionate about taking steps to ensure wellness in each of these areas. I am involved in various activities that include volunteer work in my church, speaking at events, leading community yoga classes and letting myself try new challenges that help to fuel me as a continual life long learner.
