About My Clients
I believe that everyone can change and grow at any time in their lives. I don't believe that there is a limit to human capacity. As a Trans Masc, Non binary queer (who is also Neurodivergent) I’ve often felt like I didn’t get the memo on how to “do” life. Through my own therapeutic journey I was able to get to a place of clarity, which is why I became a therapist. We will work together to understand the cycle that has kept you in a place of anxiety, and stress.
My Background and Approach
I can help you process unconscious beliefs, and identify how the past is informing your present. I most often utilize mindfulness, and CBT skills so you can load up your tool box in between sessions. I also provide EMDR therapy. EMDR helps to speed up the recovery process by accessing unresolved trauma that has been stored in your body.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have a background in theater for social change, as well as climate, and human trafficking activism. I believe that BLM, Trans people, especially children, need our support, and women's rights are human rights. No one is "illegal", and systemic change is an urgent need. I to become frustrated, and discouraged at times, but in my heart I know that people are capable of more good than bad, and art and perspective has a way of communicating our stories which need to be expressed and heard.
