My Background and Approach
Kristi Fuson, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified family psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with over 25 years of experience in healthcare. She began her career in intensive and cardiac care nursing before transitioning to mental health, where she worked in crisis units and as a supervisor at a state psychiatric hospital. In 2013, she earned her graduate degree from the University of Southern Indiana and has since gained extensive experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorder, in settings such as telepsychiatry, private practice, and community mental health.
