About My Clients
I work to help those struggling with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and other life stressors to learn and implement more adaptive ways of doing things so they can live life to their fullest potential.
My Background and Approach
I earned a BA in Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. After working in sales for several years, I realized I was not doing what I truly wanted to do or felt meaningful to me. I left the sales world and returned to school and earned my MA in Counseling from Colorado Christian University. During my internship and following graduation, I worked at an eating disorder treatment center in Denver. I have experience working with individuals with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, substance use, and emotion regulation.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I try not to take life too seriously but I take your struggles and difficulties seriously. Together we will come up with your goals for therapy and work to implement strategies that meet those goals. My approach is integrative in that I bring together different elements of therapies in order to work to meet your needs as a unique individual.
