My Background and Approach
With 3+ years of experience providing counseling services to adolescents and adults, I have been able to cultivate and expand her expertise and knowledge in this field. My approach to therapy comes from a cognitive-behavioral and person-centered approach. CBT helps you identify and challenge negative or distorted thinking patterns, and replace them with more balanced, realistic thoughts. Combined with Person-Centered Therapy, I am there to listen to you without judgment, and to help you explore your thoughts and emotions. With a bit of empathy and understanding, you can gain clarity, and begin to make positive changes in your life. I thoroughly enjoy providing a listening ear and a safe space for my clients. I believe that sometimes, people get stuck in a cycle and need a little help getting out of it.
