About My Clients
Life is full of non-stop change, especially so if you are between the ages of 5-30. These changes are constant and unrelenting. Whether it's yourself, your children or your family it can become overwhelming and deeply effect every area of your life. In our work together, I hope you feel encouraged to explore and build strengths that you are already doing to enrich your relationships and deepen awareness of yourself.
My Background and Approach
I have a BS is psychology from San Diego State University (2008) and an MSW from New York University (2011) and have praciticing for 12 years. Mostly working with children, youths and emerging adults in various settings within an inner-city community practice. I utilize a mixture of interventions, depending on what is right for my client and their goals for working together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
All individuals are innately deserving of respect and inclusivity. All individuals are worthy of respect and welcomed with empathy in my office. Having lived all over California and then New York City, I feel I have professional and personal experiences with diversity, systemic barriers and divides with the emotional, physical, financial, etc impact that it takes on all of us as a society.
