About My Clients
As a child or an adult, we can get stuck in life and/or have experiences that lead us away from showing our real selves. We may lose trust in ourselves and the world around us. That's where having a safe, honest environment can help facilitate growth and learning. Whether your child is in need of support going through a situation or you are dealing with toxic-stress, anxiety, or depression, I believe you can improve your daily life and relationships with intentional, meaningful work.
My Background and Approach
I've been licensed and working with children, adolescents, young adults and their families for the last 6 years. I offer in-office, telehealth or eco-therapy (walking outside) sessions. I believe that you know you best, so I walk alongside you or your child, focusing on solutions and goals to get you to where you'd like to be. If working with your child, we will explore many things to help your family move forward with better communication, boundaries and family connectedness. I love helping young minds understand the in-depth world of our emotions and emotional awareness and regulation. I have solid tools and common language for your family to use to help co-regulate. If you are going through this alone, I work on defining values and resources we have within, trying to connect them with our intentions in a mindful and resilient way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I appreciate where all people come from and strive to connect it to present circumstances shaping you into who you are, a beautiful and worthy human being, capable of feeling better, stronger, healthier and happier. I have a background in social justice and supporting my community from a nonjudgemental but empathetic and compassionate view. I believe our youth is where we can make large leaps and bounds in making this world a better place so giving them resources and tools to continue the hard changes that we need in this world is the first place we can start.
