My Background and Approach
I graduated from Binghamton University with my bachelors in Psychology and from Fordham University with my Masters in Social Work. I have spent most of my career providing individual psychotherapy to adults. I specialize in anxiety, however I also work with clients addressing a variety of life issues. I have gained many skills and experience through direct client work and psychotherapy trainings. I am very comfortable incorporating CBT and DBT skills into my work with clients. This means sessions with me are a combination of building insight while also implementing practical coping skills you can use in the day to day. Sessions are always client-driven but collaborative.
