About My Clients
Kristen Allen is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida and holds her Master’s Certified Addictions Professional (MCAP) through Florida Certification Board and Certification for Eye Movement Integration (EMI™). Kristen has worked in Substance Use Disorders for the last 10+ years and has experience with rehabilitation, detox, court systems, and crisis stabilization.
My Background and Approach
Kristen graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology through Hodges University & in 2018 from Hodges University with her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She incorporates therapy modalities using Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focus, Cognitive Behavioral, NLP, Experiential and Narrative Therapy. Kristen is known to have a special skill in helping people recognize and get to the root cause of troubling symptoms in a safe, fun, and welcoming atmosphere. Kristen utilizes these skills to promote advocacy and self-efficacy with genuine passion to help each individual reach their full potential. Kristen holds patient advocacy & establishing quick rapport as a high standard in her career path.
