About My Clients
My specialties include working with adults and couples on relational conflict, communication, and inner discovery. I am passionate about working with couples who need help reconnecting with one another and building long-term relational success, as well as, working with individuals to find out who they are and working through internal struggles.
My Background and Approach
I graduated from undergrad in 2012 and immediately joined the corporate world. After four years I found myself very unhappy with the work I was doing, and I knew I was meant to do something more! I always wanted to be a therapist and thought this was the perfect time. I applied for graduate school and graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2018. Shortly after, I moved to the great city of Austin to start my new career in counseling! I am trained in Gottman Marital Therapy and take a collaborative and strengths-based approach with my clients. I believe that you are the expert on your life, and my purpose is to work with you side by side while providing you with a safe and non-judgmental environment. In therapy we will go through a journey to gain a better understanding of who you are on a deeper level. We will build on your strengths and create a box of tools to help you build successful relationships.
