About My Clients
Are you going through a transition period in life? Are you looking at starting high school, college, or transitioning into a new career? I work with pre-teens, adolescents, and young adults, and I have a person-centered approach to help you navigate your big life events and discover what you want and how we are going to get there!
My Background and Approach
I take on a person-centered approach to therapy, meaning you will be met with warmth, confidentiality, and empathy. We will work together to look at the situation from your point of view, explore different options, and learn new tools to inspire you to move in the direction you'd like to go. I am here for you every step of the way, and I will hold a positive space for you to grow and thrive.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone is always able to make changes to improve their overall quality of life. Building strong relationships, setting goals, and really reflecting on what you want in life will take you wherever you want to go! With the right attitude, I believe that anyone can change the course of their life for the better, and thrive their way out of any situation. Sessions with me will focus on your goals and what you want, met with open-mindedness and warmth. When I am not practicing, I spend a lot of my free time working with my therapy dog, Eli, at nursing homes, schools, and hospitals, spreading joy and stress relief. I also spend time coaching competitive high school marching bands and color guards!
