About My Clients

I work with young adults of all ages across Colorado who are navigating anxiety, depression, insomnia, or the lasting effects of trauma. My clients are people who are ready to stop just getting by and start feeling like themselves again. They may be carrying something they've never fully addressed, or facing something new that feels overwhelming. What they share is a willingness to show up and do the work — and that is exactly where we begin.

My Background and Approach

I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist with more than a decade of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, insomnia, and trauma. My background spans community crisis care, VA medical centers, and private practice — giving me a deep understanding of how mental health challenges show up across all stages of adult life. My approach is collaborative and individualized. I draw on evidence-based therapies — including CBT, ACT, CPT, DBT, and CBT for Insomnia — and tailor each one to fit your specific needs, history, and goals. I don't follow a formula. I listen carefully, ask good questions, and work with you to build a path forward that actually fits your life. Therapy with me is a partnership. You bring your experience and your strengths; I bring clinical expertise and a genuine commitment to your growth. Together, we'll identify what's getting in the way and build the tools to move past it.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Outside of the therapy room, my life is shaped by practices that keep me grounded and present. Yoga and meditation have been part of my life for years — not just as stress relief, but as a genuine path toward self-awareness and clarity. My meditation practice draws from Vipassana and Dzogchen traditions, both of which have deepened my understanding of the mind and how we relate to our own thoughts and experiences. That understanding quietly informs everything I bring to my clinical work. I love being in the mountains. Hiking gives me perspective, stillness, and a reminder that there is something larger than whatever I am carrying that day. I share my life with a wonderful partner and a dog who makes sure I never take myself too seriously. I believe that how we care for ourselves outside of work matters just as much as the work itself. The same curiosity, patience, and willingness to sit with discomfort that I bring to my practice, I try to bring to my own life every day.
