About My Clients
The clients that start therapy with me usually come to see me for anxiety, trauma, depression, problems in relationships, ADHD, life stressors or life transitions. My clients are motivated to work on themselves, open to exploring therapy as a tool for growth and healing, and seek a supportive and understanding therapist who can provide guidance and support across a range of mental health concerns. Clients I see tend to prefer the convenience and accessibility of Telehealth therapy.
My Background and Approach
I am a diversity and trauma-informed therapist! I provide therapy online in WA and in-person in Vancouver. I went to USC and obtained my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in 2017. I have 7 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families and groups, both in person and virtually. I am an Army veteran, a parent and a vegan. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I've always been drawn spending time in nature. My therapy approach incorporates trauma-focused, strengths-based, person-centered, family systems, attachment-based, compassion-focused, relational therapy, and emotionally focused orientations and modalities. I consider each client's physical, emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing as interconnected aspects of their overall health. By integrating these diverse therapeutic approaches, I can create a tailored and comprehensive treatment plan that addresses each client's unique needs, promotes healing and growth, and supports their overall wellbeing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in creating a world that is more neurodiverse and culturally affirming. As an ADHDer, I understand what it is like to exist in a world created for neurotypical people. I believe in education, non-violence, understanding, compassion, healing, support and celebrating diversity. I support protecting our natural world, including animals and people.
