Kristen Adriazola (She/Her)

I bring an eclectic experience and background in the therapeutic setting. I am a veteran of seven years and understand the difficulties and uncertainty facing veteran's transitioning into civilian life. I worked among a wide demographic while active duty and truly learned to value the unique differences and strengths of many people. I truly celebrate differences and enjoy collaborating with individuals in exploring their values and beliefs to assist in promoting healing and recovery. While working in community mental health I have come to realize the prevalence of trauma within communities and specialize in navigating not only the impact of trauma but the recovery process as well. I belief in analyzing not only our thoughts and feelings but also our behaviors in order to take control over our lives while simultaneously return to reconnecting with others and our community.

I identify as a strength-based therapist, and I believe that everyone has inherent strengths that can be utilized towards individual goals and aspirations. It is my pleasure to assist in exploring your values and perspective in life. I am a clinical social worker and I believe adamantly in the fair and equal treatment of every person and I continue to strive towards social justice as both a social worker and a therapist. I am a minority and feel intimately the challenges minority populations face therefore my practice is and will continue to be rooted in empowerment, purpose and justice. I practice from a place of curiosity to facilitate understanding and compassion.
