About My Clients
You've done the work. Maybe you've spent years in therapy and understand why you struggle, yet anxiety, relationship patterns, or a sense of dread still live in your body. I work with adults and couples healing from complex trauma, childhood wounds, perfectionism, people-pleasing, shame, and relationship challenges. Together we'll help your nervous system feel safe so you can create lasting change instead of simply managing symptoms.
My Background and Approach
Healing happens when you feel safe enough to explore the places that have remained protected for years. My work is attachment-based, somatic, and deeply compassionate, integrating the Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindful Self-Compassion, CBT, DBT, and Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples. Many of my clients have already tried traditional talk therapy. They understand their past, but their nervous system still reacts as though the danger is happening today. Together we gently work with both the mind and body to heal trauma at its roots rather than simply coping with symptoms. I earned my Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and have received advanced training through the Center for Mind-Body Medicine, Comprehensive Resource Model, Mindful Self-Compassion, and evidence-based trauma therapies. My goal is to create a space where you feel deeply understood while building the internal resources needed for meaningful, lasting healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person has an innate capacity to heal when they feel safe, seen, and supported. Therapy is not about fixing you. It is about helping you reconnect with the strengths and wisdom that may have become buried beneath trauma, loss, or life's challenges. I welcome people from all spiritual, religious, and nonreligious backgrounds. If spirituality or faith is important to you, I want to understand your beliefs and honor them throughout our work together. Rather than asking you to adopt my perspective, I work within your own values and beliefs. Many people find that surrender, trust, meaning, compassion, or connection with a Higher Power become powerful resources for healing. If spirituality is not part of your life, that is equally respected, and our work will be guided by what feels authentic and meaningful to you. I value authenticity, self compassion, curiosity, and the belief that lasting healing happens when we care for both the nervous system and the whole person.
