About My Clients
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, owner and operator of Strides of Hope, LLC. I specialize in treating teenagers (18+), adults, and couples facing a variety of emotional and mental health issues. I have 10+ years of training and experience working with people facing unresolved trauma, anxiety, relational issues, communication problems, as well as the LGBTQIA+ community. I offer virtual sessions as well as Trauma Focused Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.
My Background and Approach
Whatever your reason is for deciding to seek therapy, I believe it is important to find a therapist that makes you feel safe, understood, and heard. Reaching out to a new therapist can be intimidating and also shows a great amount of strength and courage. My approach is client centered meaning I believe we are all the experts on our own lives and that my role as a therapist is to guide you through your growth and to help you begin creating the changes you want to make for yourself.
