About My Clients
I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, burnout, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are educators, helping professionals, caregivers, and others who spend much of their lives supporting others while neglecting themselves. Together, we'll create a compassionate space to understand your experiences, strengthen resilience, and move toward healing, connection, and meaningful change.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (Ohio), a Provisional Member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors, and a university lecturer with a PhD in educational leadership. I support adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, burnout, and major life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in compassion. I integrate evidence-informed approaches, including CBT, narrative, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and somatic practices, tailoring therapy to each client’s needs and goals. I provide secure online counseling for adults throughout Ohio, with convenient afternoon, evening, and weekend appointments designed to fit busy work and family schedules. My goal is to offer a safe, respectful space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as you build resilience, deepen self-understanding, and move toward meaningful change.

I value curiosity, kindness, and the belief that every person has inherent worth, resilience, and the capacity for growth, even during life's most difficult seasons. I welcome adults from all backgrounds, cultures, identities, and life experiences, and I am committed to providing an inclusive, affirming, and culturally responsive counseling experience. I recognize that our families, communities, cultures, and lived experiences shape who we are, and I strive to honor each client's unique story with respect and humility. Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my family, knitting and other creative pursuits, being outdoors, and teaching and mentoring future leaders. I believe connection, compassion, and hope are powerful catalysts for healing, and it is a privile
