About My Clients

If you're feeling pulled between family expectations and your own needs, struggling in relationships, navigating anxiety, perfectionism, or major life transitions. You're not alone. I work with individuals, couples, and families who want to better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships through a compassionate and attuned lens.

My Background and Approach

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I view challenges not as isolated problems within a person, but as experiences that exist within larger relationships, systems, and life circumstances. Together, we'll explore not only what is happening in your life, but how you've come to make sense of yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. My style is warm, engaged, and conversational. I aim to create a space where you can think out loud, ask difficult questions, challenge old assumptions, and develop a deeper relationship with yourself. My work is informed by attachment theory, family systems, trauma-informed care, and experiential approaches. I'm particularly interested in the ways our earliest relationships shape how we connect, protect ourselves, seek belonging, and navigate change throughout adulthood.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a second-generation South Asian therapist, I also understand the complexity of living between worlds, balancing personal desires, family expectations, cultural values, and evolving identities. I speak English, Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi, and I appreciate the many ways culture, language, and intergenerational experiences can influence our relationships, sense of self, and healing process. While this perspective informs my work, I welcome clients from all backgrounds, experiences, and belief systems. At the heart of my work is a simple belief: everyone deserves a space where they can exhale. A space where they do not have to perform, where all parts of themselves are welcome, and where healing can unfold at a pace that feels safe and authentic. If you are looking for a therapist who will meet you with warmth, curiosity, honesty, and respect for your lived experience, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
