My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have been working in the counseling industry since 2002. I hold a Masters degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA and I am a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). Some of my experience includes working for state vocational rehabilitation as a CRC and as Unit Manager over a vocational rehabilitation team for a combined 10 years and in private rehabilitation for over 7 years as a Clinical Vocational Rehabilitation Case Manager. In our first session together, we’ll start with brief introductions and gather background information. You’ll get a sense of my style as your therapist and then we'll dive into the specific challenges you’re facing and together, we will develop a plan to work through in follow-up sessions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am committed to providing my clients with the highest quality of service, delivered with confidentiality, integrity, ingenuity, empowerment, respect, and professionalism. While I encourage you to put in the necessary work, I will walk beside you on your journey of hope, change, and self-discovery.
